Stephen ‘Evo’ Evanson

Hi, I’m Stephen “Evo” Evanson.  I was born in 1977 and raised in Crewe.  I was brought up listening to classic 80’s bands such as Duran Duran, OMD, Heaven 17, The Human League and Michael Jackson to name a few.

I attended Coppenhall High School during the 90’s and loved boy bands like East 17 & Boyzone but my favourite had to be Take That!!

Always the performer, I have ‘performed’ a few shows with friends for the kids on the street in my back garden at home!

I’ve also been in an amateur dramatics company,  acting in panto as well as live singing and dancing shows.

My main hobby has to be movies, ever since I can remember I’ve watched and loved films.  My first ever purchase on VHS (remember those?) was Predator back in 1987.   I am a regular at the cinema and as an unlimited pass subscriber, get to visit as often as I want, sometimes two or three times a day!

My other hobbies include, reading, football, golf, karaoke, quizzes, puzzles, and tattoos.

I have five children and a granddaughter, and am married to Hayley.  We met by chance back in 2014 at a party I nearly didn’t attend!

Going back to tattoos, I have a few movie related ones, including Lord of the Rings, a Warriors Movie logo, the Deathly Hallows logo and the Dark Mark from Harry Potter.   Music related tattoos include the Take That logo, and I did have the Foo Fighters logo too.

My next tattoos will be Captain Americas’ shield and autograph, and Thor’s Hammer and Axe.
